[At some point in the morning, there's knock on Stelle's front door - it's a deliveryman with a neatly wrapped box! It's clearly a present of some kind, and there's even a note attached to the front, addressed to Stelle in Firefly's neat handwriting.]
"Happy birthday, Stelle! I didn't know if you had plans with your other friends, so in case I don't see you today, I had this delivered.
I know things have been complicated between us, but I want to say I truly cherish you and your friendship. You're one of the bravest, kindest people I've ever known, and your ability to keep your head held high in the face of everything the galaxy is throwing at you is truly admirable. You're... an amazing person, Stelle, and I'll forever be thankful for having had the chance to get to know you.

[Inside the box is a stuffed animal - a raccoon, to be exact. Its fur is a close match to the color of Stelle's hair, and the gold of its plastic eyes look remarkably similar to Stelle's as well. The mouth is sewn into a little ^, giving the animal an adorable pleading look, like it's begging to be hugged. Around one arm is a simple yet beautifully polished band of gold, with a diamond set into the center. It's easy enough to slide it on or off, but when worn, it's snug enough that it won't slide around on Stelle's wrist or arm, meaning it won't get in the way during a fight.
When Stelle puts the band on, she'll feel... something. It's not the surge of power that came with her shifting Paths, or the thrum of elemental energy as she fought with fire, or even her newfound wind abilities. It's... a bit more subtle, like a gentle warmth inside of her. Calming, but sturdy.
The easiest way to describe it is that Stelle feels much more safe whenever she wears it.]
