IC INFORMATION
Name: Stelle
Canon: Honkai: Star Rail
Age: Unknown, but she is treated in universe to be a young adult mentally and physically (~18 to early 20s)
Gender: Female
Species: In universe, there isn't a specific term for the 'species' that the Trailblazer is — her physical body is an artificial one, making her similar to that of a homunculi. The closest term that one can get of her species would be "Receptacle X", the term that was used to refer to Stelle in particular prior to having her actual canonized name.
Appearance: Here. A rather tall woman with shaggy gray hair. Wears primarily black, gold and white with low heeled boots. On the collar of her jacket, she wears a badge that shows that she is a Nameless; a member of the Astral Express, which is part of her outfit.
Canon point: After the events of 3.2: Through the Petals in the Land of Repose
History: Here is the wiki page for the Trailblazer themselves, but given that page doesn't have the list of events from the story itself, I will also link you to the timeline page on the Honkai: Star Rail wiki.
Personality answers:
- #1. WHO IN YOUR CHARACTER'S CANON INFLUENCED THE MOST GROWTH IN YOUR CHARACTER? WHAT DO THEY THINK ABOUT THIS CHARACTER?
- Baseball bat -- A curio that was originally from the Herta Space Station and is now currently Stelle's main weapon in combat.
- A Plush Doll of herself -- An item that was created to sell on Penacony.
- The Watchmaker's Hat -- A hat that was originally owned by one of the former Nameless, Mikhail, and was passed down unto Stelle, which she utilizes in combat.
- Cellphone -- Her phone contains a lot of memories that she's had ever since she's 'awoken', from text messages to photos.
For Stelle herself, there isn't just a singular person who influenced her, but rather the whole of the Astral Express — however, her two main companions who join her in world adventures, March 7th and Dan Heng are the most influential on her.
As someone who wakes up at the start of Honkai: Star Rail with no memories, the Astral Express is her home; the crew members her family, something that is shown in their group chat's name, and how frequently she expresses care about them all, even if it might be in silly ways. After all, they do a lot of group activities on the train together, from game nights to sitting down with some coffee, to just straight up exploring worlds.
In her Data Bank voice lines, when she thinks about the idea of not joining the Astral Express, she outright tells herself that "there is no possibility" for that; even in the Fate/stay night collaboration story, when she is forced into a dream where she didn't join the Astral Express, time and again she fights for that choice - she is a Trailblazer, she is a member of the crew, who she's done so much with.
Stelle puts her utmost faith and trust in each member to the point where even if they're apart, their hearts are united. She knows that like her, they will make the right choices.
And because Stelle had no memories prior to meeting the Astral Express crew, she's found herself picking up on some of their habits and tics to the point where she even finds herself doing some of them herself at times.
#2. WHAT WOULD BE YOUR CHARACTER'S LOWEST, DARKEST MOMENT THEY'VE LIVED THROUGH? HOW DID THEY RESPOND TO THEIR TROUBLES AND FACE THEIR DEMONS?
For Stelle, that immediate moment would be the gut wrenching scene of seeing Firefly die right before her eyes.
In Stelle's eyes, Firefly was someone who she had just met but was growing fond of; someone who was steadily, but surely, becoming someone who she could consider a friend. They had even taken a photo together, after all.
The moment was meant to be a reunion - they had separated and found each other again, only to have that moment ripped away from her, making her feel useless in the moment. Especially as someone who is combatant and could have fought the thing that killed her friend who had helped her out in a new foreign world to her. All she could do in response is fight the thing afterwards and make an attempt to move forward and find answers as to why this all happened to begin with.
#3. WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER'S BIGGEST AMBITION AT THEIR CURRENT CANON POINT? TO WHAT LENGTHS WOULD THEY GO TO SEE IT TO FRUITION?
At this point in time, Stelle's current ambition is to see the Flame-Chase Journey through.
She is willing to go through many lengths to see it to fruition; she was willing to take on the trial of the Titan of Time to become a demigod, even if that could come with potential consequences. After all, Stelle knew that several of the others who had become demigods though had suffered losses (i.e: Aglaea with her steady loss of her 'humanity' and Tribios with her 'self' being split into many) and did not hesitate in the slightest in her decision to do so.
If it means that she can save a world that is dying in front of her eyes, Stelle is willing to go the distance and do what she thinks is right.
#4. WHAT IS YOUR CHARACTER MOST AFRAID OF?
Stelle's whole motivational quote boils down to this: When there is a chance to make a choice, make one that you know you won't regret.
And in the end, that is a fear that she has; the concept of making the wrong choice, the inability to make one to begin with. Stelle doesn't want to have any regrets in her life - it's why when she's shown in a false dream scenario a world where she didn't join the Astral Express, the anxiety and doubts show as clear as day as she endlessly doubts the decisions she's made and questions what could've, would've been.
It's because of this innate fear that she tries to make sure to make the decision that she knows is best for her, to do things that she knows she won't look back on and say that she did the wrong thing.

Powers/Abilities:
Stelle is host to what is called a Stellaron, also known as the "Cancer of All Worlds". While dormant in her own physical body, she is able to communicate somewhat to other Stellarons as well as beings that were conjured up by them as long as it remains in her body.
She is also what is known as a Pathstrider, someone who is connected to a Path and can draw power from it. While most characters in the game are aligned primarily to a single path, Stelle herself can switch between several Paths interchangeably but cannot use them all at once those which I will list below with through explanation of what abilities she has for each one.
- DESTRUCTION.
— can do small healing with a snap of her fingers; this only restores health and minor injuries.
— can summon her bat and utilize it to cause physical damage to a single or multiple enemies.
PRESERVATION.
— with her lance, can cause fire-based damage.
— can taunt enemies towards her.
— can create a temporary shield around herself and any members in her party that can protect them for a certain amount of damage.
HARMONY.
NOTE: to explain imaginary damage in the context of honkai: star rail, it is the form of creation that comes from the imaginary element. so basically, the damage is being created through stelle's ability as a pathstrider.
— utilizing the watchmaker's hat, can cause imaginary-based damage. this can be done by having tossed the hat to physically damage an enemy or toss it to cause temporary coins to appear and rain down on the enemy, which then disappear after the damage is dealt.
— in game, she can increase the break effect of all allies and grant them super break damage; what this essentially translates to in game is that stelle can buff characters to deal more damage when hitting weaknesses and if they hit a tipping point, whatever damage they do afterwards is also increased. this ability of hers lasts for three rounds of her attacks until she reactivates the skill.
REMEMBRANCE.
— using the pen as her weapon, she can write letters that can cause ice-based damage.
Samples: Stelle's TDM toplevel here, which contains several threads — the ones that show off her characterization the best are this thread for her interacting with a castmate, and this thread for cross-canon.
Player Goals: For Stelle, the things that I am immediately interested in are for her to learn more about the world around her and its mysteries. Stelle is the kind of character who digs her heels into the world and dig through things, even if it may be in her silly little way.
Also, having Stelle deal with how the Natural Soul actively changes and impacts her as a person, as someone who has gone from basically being an 'empty shell' to finding her identity slowly through the people around her is something that I would like to explore. As someone who molds herself based on that, having a Natural Soul close to home and taking on traits that can be similar and different to how she was from how she started would be interesting in handling Stelle's identity and challenge her to find herself again even with these changes.
Soul Choice: Carnivora. Specifically, that of a raccoon. Stelle herself is compared quite frequently to raccoons in the story proper to the point where she even gets a video game based on her life where she is portrayed as one.
